Engineered for pure speed and race performance, the all-new JET Race Wing is designed to dominate modern wingfoil racing. Built for competitive riders demanding maximum upwind angles, efficient downwind speed and exceptional top-end performance, the JET combines advanced materials, refined aerodynamics and intuitive handling into a true race machine.

The wing features an Ultra 80X UPE laminate leading edge and strut frame, delivering exceptional stiffness while allowing reduced tube diameters. This advanced material significantly lowers aerodynamic drag while optimizing the wing’s structural efficiency. The result is a wing that feels light, fast and extremely responsive, even at maximum speed.

Its 100% full double profile design ensures precise aerodynamics and consistent power delivery across a wide wind range. The canopy is built using premium VoltNova triple ripstop spinnaker material from Teijin, providing excellent durability and long-term profile stability. The Ultra 80X trailing edge further reduces stretch and maintains a clean aerodynamic shape for superior stability and control at high speed.

A squared outline combined with a higher aspect ratio maximizes efficiency, allowing riders to achieve excellent upwind performance while maintaining strong speed and stability on downwind legs.

Despite its race-oriented double profile construction, the JET remains surprisingly easy to handle, with smooth and intuitive tacks and jibes that simplify maneuvering on the race course.

The one-piece carbon boom provides a direct, stiff connection for precise control and secure grip during high-intensity racing.

The Gaastra Jet Race 2026 is officially registered with World Sailing, making it fully approved for national and international competitions.

1 – ULTRA 80X FRAME
Ultra-stiff, ultra-light and ultra-strong, the Ultra 80X UPE laminate construction of the leading edge and strut frame delivers unmatched stability, stiffness, explosive power and responsive handling. Ultra 80X weighs in at less than half the weight of Dacron and allows for a more progressively tapered LE, delivering the perfect rigidity to flex ratio.

2 – VOLTNOVA+ TRAILING EDGE
Ultimate control, load distribution and strength are guaranteed with the ground-breaking Ultra 80X material stabilizing the Jet’s trailing edge. Ultra 80X defies the most radical conditions and tense racing.

3 – 100% DOUBLE PROFILE DESIGN
A full double profile delivers superior aerodynamics and all-around racing performance. Offering optimal upwind efficiency without compromising downwind power and control, the Jet strikes the perfect balance for competitive wing foiling.

5 – WINGFOIL RACING COMPLIANT WINDOWS
Two big windows provide perfect visibility to leeward, meeting the latest Wingfoil Racing Tour rules and ensuring safe, confident positioning on the racecourse.

6 – ONE PIECE CARBON BOOM
We chose to equip the Jet Race with a one-piece carbon boom, following the request of our pro riders who wanted maximum stiffness while staying as close as possible to the wing. This setup ensures maximum precision in handling and optimized power transmission.

7 – PREMIUM LE REINFORCEMENT
A new self-adhesive, light and strong Dacron reinforcement panel on the leading edge closing seam of the Jet wings provides optimized diffusion of the load and unmatched robustness.

9 – VOLTNOVA SPINNAKER
Our cutting-edge VoltNova triple ripstop spinnaker supplied by Teijin in the front and center section as well as the double profile of the Jet perfectly combines lightness, robustness and neutralizes stretch, which optimizes load distribution over a long period.

11 – SEPARATE AIR CELLS
The leading edge and strut are in- and deflated through two separate SUP valves, which allows you to tune your Jet wing with individual pressures.

For a rider around 85 kg, like Nicolò Spanu, an ideal two-wing quiver would be 7.5 m² and 6.0 m²

For lighter riders: an ideal two-wing quiver would be 7.0 m² and 5.5 m²

RECOMMENDED SIZES

For optimal performance and rigidity:

–6.5 m² : approximately 10 – 10.5 PSI
-larger sizes: slightly less pressure
-smaller sizes: slightly more pressure
-3.5 m²: around 11 – 11.5 PSI
